Many Indian bloggers support the Israeli attack on Lebanon.
Mumbai, India.........Innocent train commuters killed in bomb blasts.
Qana, Lebanon.........Innocent Labanese civilians are killed by the Israeli war planes' bombings.
Is there any difference between the blood of Mumbai victims and Qana victims?
I don't see any difference. Nor do I see any difference between the blood of civilians killed in Northern Israel and those killed in Gaza on every day basis by Israel.
I urge my Indian friends not to support Israel in its ruthless campaign that is destroying Lebanon and causing deaths to civilians.

I am not sure abt Bloggers, there has been a huge uproar in India, condemning the Israeli attack, in general. I cant see how anyone for that matter cud applaud what Israel has been upto.

I agree with velu..by and large the indian public and press has condemned the israeli attacks...it is sad that more and more people and countries are turning to violence these days.
Velu and Neihal: Thanks for your responses. They have helped me in understanding the general feelings of Indians and that feeling is not supporting Israel. I got the idea from some of the bloggers who favored attacks of Israel on Hezbollah. My point of view was that war against "Hezbollah militants only" could be justified as they are gainst Israel but dragging the civilian population in the fire is certainly not justified. I am now very much clear about Indian opinion.
The comments I wanted to make and a response is already here. Still, let me re-emphasise what has been written by my fellow Indians.
General public in India does not really support any war that kills many people. And generally again US is not seen as a nice partner by an average Indian - probably because of long anti-US NAM stand of India. Whatever.
